Thank you very much, as the context of my question is
with the fellowship I have found among non-pentacostal
Christians.
I mentioned the Asuza revival, as it pre-dated the formation
of the AoG in Hot Springs Ark. ...and hinted that our "fellowship"
may have come from various denominations that were not open to
a "full Gospel" message.
To further fan the "fire"<G>
I'm a product of a 2nd generation pentecostal experiance.
*Many times my youth group would "testify" that they whished
they could have a 1st generation pentecostal experiance simular
to what you testify to have had, being saved from a sinfull
life ect...ect.. that it would be "easier" to whitness...
(*The best testimony seemed allways to be the distance and
vileness of one's past behavior and the depth that one sank
before being washed in the blood and clensed!)
My Dad would proudly proclaim, that because of his childhood
experiance, he led his family "back to the Lord" ...meaning in
the practical sence, that they left a mainline church for a
"full gospel experiance" ala... Amy Simple Mc Phearson and
Angeles Temple in the 1930's... and the Assemblies of God
leading to his ministry as a home missionary with the Apache.
-=A=- as a young man, experianced many Revival nights were
the Power of God fell way into the wee hours and then I'd go to
secular school and not 'talk about such topics with friends or
Teachers! How come..?
*You see.. I sometimes thought we were "special" or set apart
*chosen by the Holy Ghost for only a pure vessel could hold
his infilling... I knew it was real and not to be "messed with"
and that seemed to seperate me socialy from my schoolmates.
*This make any sence?
