One little bit from me.  Speaking in tounges is one of the gifts or fruits of
the spirit.  A/g doctrine has made it the standard to be judged by for
evidence of the filling of the Spirit, thus the hang up. A lot depends on how
you look at it and whos man made doctrine you follow. In my old church many a
good person was never able to serve on the board of deacons because someone
had said the had to be filled with the Spirit and speak in tounges.
