*That's a novel thought<G>

I might write something about the curious nature of my Dad..

*Truck Driver/Minister-Missionary and Early Ranger Leader<G>

I'm afraid however that I have writen too much on some
aspects, and that the time period combined with the region
might make the "story" sound like an episode out of the movie
"Forest Gump<G>"

Here's a "taste"...

One night at a Revival.. the Evangelist in good TEXAS STYLE
form, was rocking back and forth.. Suit coat off and tie loosed!

It was a HOT summer night.. the decon would cross the pulpet
from behind with a big jug of water for the swamp cooler..

The preacher rocked back and knocked the jug out of Bro.Farmers
hand and spilled all over the carpet by the pulpet...

Our church had a BIG 'ole elvis 50's style chrome michrophone
hooked up to a old WW2 ampliphier... The Evangelist didn't miss
a beat..

"*How many of you precious saints know-ahh, that there is no harder
phisical work-ahhh than to preach the annointed gospel under the
influence of the Holy Ghost-ahhh!"

"GLORY!" said the church!

*At that point the preacher steped forward into a puddle, just
as he grasped that un-grounded michrophone stand... *POW!

He did a full flip over the pulpet.. knocked over the flowers
and landed flat at the alter!!!! ..and he did'nt move!

"*GLORY! GGGGLORY!!! yelled the church...

In a moment.... with respect<G> a Decon went over and
knelt by him... slowly the preacher "came too" raised
and without touching the michrophone wispered:

"In conclusion...."
