Just got back from 4 days in the Atlantic upon CVN-68, the USS Nimitz
AKA 4
1/2 acres of sovereign American territory, 90,000 tons of diplomacy. We
finished her three year refueling/overhaul and delivered her back to the
fleet today after a "clean sweep " acceptance trials.
I've got 56 messages in my Rangernet box and I'm heading back out
tomorrow
for Dallas, Texas and the International Worship Institute, 5 days of
workshops with the likes of Darrel Evans, the Parachute Band from New
Zealand, Alvin Slaughter, Lamar Boschman, Vivian Hibbard (another Kiwi),
Matt Redman from the UK.
About 4,000 worshippers from all over the world in a lock-in with Holy
Spirit! WAUGH!!!!
After 4 days of a Navy rack and Navy chow........... I NEED THIS.
Duane, my hat's off to you and all the other swabbies. That rack...... I
might as well have been on a slab. The only thing missing was the toe
tag.
