Start Button>Settings>Printers. Select
a printer that you think is a local printer. Right click > Properties
... then the Ports Tab. Which port is checkmarked in the listbox in the
center? To print locally, it must be an LPTx port that is checkmarked and
the LPTx port must exist on the local machine. Further Restart the
offending machine in "Safe Mode" amd go to device manager > Ports and make
certain there is only one entry for each port. If there is more than one,
delete them all and let windows reinstall them(it will on reboot).
