Matt/Frank/Troy, Thanks. You solved two problems. The terminal services problem is running on Win2K and the scenario you described must be the culprit. The user is leaving the RBase app but not closing the session.
Troy- at another customer using Novell "under" Win NT, they are always having problems reloading their data base. I will pass on your suggestion as it is a good bet, since it doesn't always happen. Goto your Terminal Server, Open the terminal services manager (from the control panel - administrative tools) Look in the users list for any open sessions.. Right click on them and then disconnect or reset them. >We have been using TS with both RBase 6.5++ Win and Dos in Multiuser mode for years. In the manage box click on OPEN FILES... This will show you who has the database files open. You can then either click on the individual database files and close them manually or you can close ALL of the open files at once. > >-- Frank > >--- Frank Conroy - Systems Network Administrator >--- F.J.
