John,

What printer driver are you using with Windows?  Try setting it up as "generic text".  Then whatever you print should just pass through.

Have just purchased a Zebra label printer and am having difficulty printing standard text labels (not bar codes)

 from Rbase 6.5++ (version 1.866)

I have set the printer to "Line Mode"

PRNSETUP 'Zebra LP2844'

OUT PRINTER

LBLPRINT test              (test being a form that displays ok on the screen)

OUT SCREEN

The label prints ok but with each label I get the following

JF

q832

q832

q036

0

followed by the correct label text

Is there any simple way of suppressing these Ascii (?) Characters?

Is there another 2" to 4" label printer that I should be looking at that is more compatible with RBase?

Many Thanks
