Marc,
These can be difficult to resolve as the issue could be software, printer driver, or the printer itself. However, it would be unlikely the printer itself is the issue if everything else prints OK. Steps I would take if possible:
1) Print the exact same "problem" claim to another printer. If it prints OK then the issue is either the print driver, unsupported fonts or even a printer memory issue if it is a page printer such as most laser jets. I would then down load any updated print drivers first and then check to insure all fonts used in the report are supported. I have even found that using an "older" or more generic driver sometimes works better. I.E. using a HP 4100 driver for a 4160 printer.
2)If the same problem is seen on a different printer, then check your report header carefully. It is easy for a report header to affect only the first page of a report.
3)Last, try changing the font. In the past, I ran into a rather odd situation where I was printing to a file and an "extra" line would be inserted. I changed the font to Courier, size 11 and the problem immediately went away. Changed it back and the problem came back. Long shot but might be worth a try. I know fonts can react a little differently on some printers.
Good luck.
