David,

I do not know the answer for this.
However in my opinion, if the customer relies on R:BASE for their daily
operations
then I would humbly suggest that they do the R:BASE upgrade first, and then
new computers.

We already know that 9.1 works just fine on XP and Windows 7 so why risk
down time.

Respectfully,

Jan

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Running 6.5++ Under Windows 7

Friends

I have a client who is still (!) running 6.5++ on a network
under Windows XP.I?m rewriting the code
to upgrade them but it won?t be installed until July.They are considering
upgrading their server
and switching to Windows 7.Does anyone
have experience in the distant past (or present) running 6.5++ under Windows
7
and can you comment on its reliability and stability?They would like to do
the upgrade BEFORE the
R:Base upgrade, but are willing to wait if there are reported issues running
6.5++ under Windows 7.
