Larry: You can try to go through the boot process one command at a time. I believe that you hold the <F8> key while the computer is booting up and it will bring a menu with several options (including Safe Mode), select the option Step-by-Step confirmation and it will prompt for each command; you should be able to see if you run into a problem with any of the commands. You can also use, the Logged mode and then look at the file "bootlog.txt" for messages. Javier,
