John, in addition to Razzak's comments, you might try using the -a switch to start a
copy of
R:Base 7.1 with all the associated files in the same folder as the RBG7.exe. I am
currently
running three versions of R:Base 7.1 on my computer using three shortcuts, each
calling the
program from its own directory, including all the .msg files, etc. that are usually
installed in
the windows and system32 directories.

This experiment will tell you if you do, in fact, have a stray file or two on the
system. If the
program runs without errors doing this, you do have extras somewhere.

John,

You may have to search for those files on your network
drives as well.

Once renamed or deleted, start RBG7 and let the RBG7
startup routine create one for you.

Hope that helps!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
