Ditto to all comments pro LCD. The only downsides we've
experienced, in an office environment, are:
1.) People have a tendency to point to a screen with the
point of their ball-point pens. Even if it does not do any
damage, the screen now has ink on it and such is not
easy to remove. Not a problem with CRTs.
2.) It is difficult to find a screen guard that fits an LCD. A
couple we tried had to be returned as they partially hid
     the on/off button.
3.) The sticky-tape used to mount the screen guard does
not stick well and has to be frequently replaced.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Off Topic

I have always used CRT monitors and am considering LCD monitors presently and want someone elses opinion and truck the sources on this list more than anyone else.

Anyone have a preference and why?

Heat and energy savings a ones I have heard of so far but this is hard to quntify with the bean counters. Will they last longer? or anything else. We run monitors 24/7days and I need to order 15 to 20 new monitors and am trying to make a decision.

Thanks
