In the current and rather weird jargon term: "Absolutely."

I don't have much experience with cranks built after, say, 1990, but I do
have a little, and I would guess that a modern crank might well have a
higher Q than a Cyclotourist triple on the same frame even though the
Cyclotourist triple might use a spindle that is as much as 30 mm longer than
that for the modern crank. I got a Q of 160 with a custom 145 Phil and a
Cyclotourist triple.
