Take time and smell the roses (and enjoy some local “off course” coffee and food).
My wife and I did the ride a few years back and the urge to “keep going” made us look askew at the big crowds at the rest stops. By the time We were up on the Gowanus Parkway she was really tired and thirsty. I pushed her seatpost with one hand to the park at the foot of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and the vendors awaiting us. The only other thing she grew tired of was the endless complimenting my orange Rambouillet drew. “Why do so many people think that bike fits you so well?” she asked. I saw ten or so Rivendells. Figured it was about right. Andy Cheatham Pittsburgh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
