Another suggestion for WTB saddles. I just put a Speed V (their cheapest saddle) from a town bike i sold on my road bike and discovered that it's quite comfortable for long rides. No pressure on the nether regions.
I've never ridden a Brooks for anything more than a hundred yards or so I can't compare.
