No worries on my part! I'd not heard that regarding squeal and blade length... I thought it was my adjusting.. (still kinda think it is....).
Mine's a 56cm, on 650B rims and tires, so it'll be shorter than yours, but... on a flat, I'd not heard it, but when I turn down my driveway, a bit more of a downhill, then the squeal comes out.....
