Actually, my observations and advice are based on the fact that we are
operating scale vehicles with non-scale traction over non-scale terrain.
In real life, half-tracks that used only the wheels for turning were
still considered to be the worst turning off-road vehicles. Given that
our battlefields conditions are far worse than any real battlefield, I
doubt that they will turn at all with just wheel steering.
Of course, if you battle on pavement or manicured lawns like the Brits,
then driving around a Barbie Convertible will probably work as well :-)
