I do my best to provide less than manicured lawn standard fields! 
Usually I get the rugby players out there the week before (and it still 
makes a blind bit of difference!).

Neil does seem to favour the conditions, I agree.  What I would say 
though, is perhaps we should be grateful we even have battlefields here 
at all.  Before too long public Health and Safety will start doing silly 
things in the UK, like banning paintball as a "dangerous sport"or 
something unhelpful.

They've stopped a town council putting up hanging baskets from 
streetlamps, since they might fall on somebody.  Next we know, you won't 
be allowed to drive anywhere on the premise that somebody might just 
crash into you.
