I've given up any idea of ever building another tank - I shall never have the money, tools or skill to come anywhere close to matching your Chieftain, Phil! Anyway, with regard to bearings for your wheels, this site http://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Bearings-1005-c has a wide selection of bearings and bushings which are reasonably cheap.
