Now Pete, don't give up!

My Chieftain is still a long way off, assuming it ever gets done.

As to tools, yes I do have a few, if you wern't so far away you'd be
welcome to use them. My workshop lies idle 6 days a week as I have to
work away from home and only get back at weekends. That invitation is
open to any of you tankers too!

I'm going to go with the plain PVC on steel shaft for the time being,
see how it goes.
