If you do get the Sabertooth, remember to write the apparently arcane setup procedure down for future reference. In my experience, anything from Dimension Engineering (i.e. Sabertooth) will fail prematurely. Something else to note about Sabertooth's (and others) are the open board no-case designs. It's really easy for a non-electronic savvy person to get metal filings in these things and blow them.
Don't worry about exponential/linear curve choices or regen braking mumbo-jumbo that TNA is spouting about. He's just trying to dazzle you with technobabble, to make this all sound more complicated then it really is. If your intelligent enough to comprehend and assemble the mechanical portions of a tank. Your more than smart enough to get the electronics going, especially with today's off the shelf solutions and help from experienced battlers.
