So to put this into understandable terms for a dude who is kinda like "huh?" (like me) when it comes to this assembler widget... it's something like a translator, bridging the gap between the API of the Flex application on the client and the CFMX server on the other end. Since the Flex DataServices object places some burden on the server-side architecture to speak in types that it understands and can process, and since there's an FDS plugin for CFMX now in b2, this Assembler makes sure that the return values are in the right format and so on for the Flex DataServices client object in the movie...
