Related to this topic, we also can no longer access SVN repositories over  HTTP from behind our corporate firewall. Therefore, we find ourselves in a similar situation of not always being able to quickly get the latest revision. We had no problems accessing the repositories using the SVN protocol. The error that comes back from both Subversion and Tortoise SVN is:

    RA layer request failed
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/reactor/trunk'
svn: PROPFIND of '/reactor/trunk': 501 Not Implemented (http://svn.reactorframework.com )

When outside our corporate firewall, everything works fine. Any suggestions on how we can fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
