According to pure price logic, anything open-source or free must be
'crap and have terrible support'. Hope no-one tells the folks
responsible for Apache, VNC, PostgreSQL, PHP or openoffice ... I
think your assumption is seriously flawed.
As I look across my dock, RB is the 3rd most expensive program (of
22) but is easily the buggiest. RS is also one of the toughest to
get return emails from or get bugs fixed. Interestingly, the 4
cheapest apps are the ones which have never needed any support and
have no bugs I can find.
Make of that what you will.
