Yes, it would be nice to have a constructive list but I'm not sure that
RB takes performance problems seriously. I filed a feedback report
(bzjwaoco) along with a demo project. It points to one speed (lack of!)
problem. The report is now marked -- "Reviewed."
This report should have pointed to a small portion of RB's code as a
target which could give a significant performance boost to most
programs, including the ide. But it hasn't been addressed and I've about
given up.
