No disrespect intended, but it's a bit disingenuous to suggest that
you'd rather not have a group of customers. Maybe your product(s) are
targeted at a certain market, and that's fine. But a public forum like
this is hardly an appropriate place for this.
For what it's worth, I'm a relative newcomer to RB, and I've encountered
a few bugs and would-be-nice-to-have features. There are others that
have been around longer, and maybe their lists are just a bit longer.
It seems to me to be a perfectly natural thing for a community of
developers to be free to express pleasure or displeasure at the way a
product is being updated. It's what leads to better software.
I feel like these sorts of negative statements only serve to ignore the
hard work and open communication of everyone that contributes on this
list. I'm glad to be a part of a community that can see the positive
and negative.
Regards,
Ed

Nah, just your union members. Probably not people I'd want as customers
anyway. Lots of people on this list are disgusted by this whinefest. You
should see the jokes that float around off-list (as an indication that I
didn't offend the whole list). Here's a sample:
It's Sunday and they are all whining. I bet they won't even
take Presidents' Day off either.
Funny stuff!!

Now you've just insulted the whole list.
Great business advice.
