Just defining a file type doesn't make it droppable; you also have to
fill in the name of the type in the AcceptFileTypes property of your
Application subclass.
How does one do that? I'm using RB 5.5.4, I find nothing in the manual with
that name, and when I try to access the property, my app doesn't compile.
Is this only RB2005 and up? if so, is RB5.5.4 defective in this area or is
there another way to do this?

Hmm, that's odd. From how you've defined your Wave type, both should work.
But it doesn't.

Er -- too many negatives in that sentence for me to quite follow. So
I'll just say: if the file is not typed, then it should be filtered
by its extension instead.
Meaning that if in FileTypes I have a type defined that says:
CC: ????
MC: WAVE
Ex: .wav
And if I have a file that is typed BOZO but is named with a .wav extension,
it should light it up?
