Absolutely. This is strange, because Apple didn't do this with either
System 6 > 7, or 68k > PPC.
But if this is what Apple is doing, and Rb doesn't deliver until the
end of the year as has been mentioned on this list, then that's 9
months where others are going to steal the business from MwRb apps.

Sorry, but this is misinformation
It has *never* been stated that it will be the end of the year, it
was just stated that it will arrive this year, as soon as possible.
IMHO, RS needs to be more transparent in providing details on when
they expect to release a version of RB capable of producing UB
builds. Surely they have internal development schedules. While I can
understand not wanting to be pinned down on an exact date, it would
be better to provide some guidance, rather than "sometime this year".
We all know that dates can slip, but it would be useful to know if
"sometime this year" means Q2 vs Q4, for example. The vacuum created
by a lack of details is a major cause of speculation and
misinformation.
