1. Lots of graphical things happen in Window1, a fullscreen window,
as a
result of button clicks. I'd like to have the buttons on a separate
Window2
that I can bring up and move around, so Window1 has Pushbutton1
with Action
code:
Window2.Show
Window2 appears. It has some pushbuttons in a kind of keypad
arrangement,
and I'd like to have this keypad send some numbers to methods that
are part
of Window1.
You can add a property to Window2: MyWindow1 as Window1. Then from
Window1 do:
Window2.Show
Window2.MyWindow1 = self //assigns a ref to Window1 into MyWindow1
Now, if you want to execute a method owned by Window1 you can do:
MyWindow1.SomeMethod(Whatever parameters SomeMethod needs)
Best,
Jack
