If they didn't before they do now.  Historically Geoff has been an avid
reader of the listserv.  He also tends to respond to emails sent directly to
his email address.  So if you want an audience with the person that has the
most influence on the direction of RB you might give that a try.

On the front page of the realbasic site, the focal groups are:

Visual basic developers
java developers
commercial developers
IT developers
Business productivity
Teach programming
Programming as a hobby

None of these corresponds to using REALbasic for science or even for  
teaching (although there is an education award). For REALbasic to  
implement some of the suggestions on this thread they would have to  
make scientific programming a priority.

Does anyone have information about REALbasics understanding and  
prioritization of scientific programming?
