To develop mySQL plugin REAL 99.9% of sure have use
mySQL C client library, i.e. "mySQL driver"
This driver is inside of pugin.
And later it will be inside of compiled app.
So Wade says correct things.

But Wade have clear tell in letter:

I believe that mySQL company NEVER will give to REAL (REALbasic) such
license to deploy Non-GPL plugin.
Ask me why? Because this is where mySQL company only charge money.
If you look deeply, mySQL earn money only on
1) sale to APPLICATION developers
2) support
So do you think, mySQL will give license to
REALBasic, Revolition, VB6, Delphi - vendors
To be able provide non-GPL plugins ????
Then they loose main stream of mySQL sales.
IMHO its very clear.
This is why we have develop Valentina license to be very nice for
APPLICATION DEVELOPERS.
