The debugger never kicks in to give any error messages -- > just the OS X error message. In your case you actually break into the debugger and try and step through code. You didn't include steps to reproduce but this sounds like a problem that we have already fixed. Some people today are having problems with the IDE crashing before the app launches or enters the debugger. We have almost zero information about this issue and I'm hoping that some of the people seeing this will provide some today. I have already heard from one user off list who his providing me with information, if others do the same (or file bug reports) perhaps we will be able to figure out what is going on.
