The source code posted in the OP compiles just fine when the building
environment is properly set up, as documented in this thread. Also, plese
note that the installation of DirectX SDK is not not something new to Tundra
2, but have been used with Tundra 1.* for maybe a year already, when
building on Windows with the D3D blitting enabled.

Currently it's not possible to compile Tundra with VS2010, as this would
need all the 3rd party binary dependencies rebuild with VS2010 too. Jonne
Nauha has been working on rebuilding the dependencies during the past couple
of months, so VS2010 support should be there in the near future. So for the
time being, just go with VS2008(SP1).
