Sorry Pier, but I remember when (I'm an expert analyst/programmer, and
my friends know this) my friends, profane about computers, programming
languages, etc... told me I was a "wizard". They saw my person as a
"dark man": a man who was able to create something from nothing
(create energy... incredible!). As result, they ask me many impossible
things.

So, I don't think an expert (Mathematician) can be called "High Priest
of Academia", since it could take the "not expert people" to get
impossible things by such man (High Priest... seems almost a wizard!).

And more: "indoctrinated into the Church of Science through rites,
rituals and incantation.": this phrase is mystic... it could be a good
phrase some centuries ago, but now, in a Rebol forum (ok...
mailing-list), I think it is a little bit out-of-place (sorry for my
english, but this is not my native language. I hope I was able to
spread the concept).

A friend of mine always tell me: "Life? A trouble? A problem?" the
solution is "Take it easy".
