well i think the idea is great but what realy bothers me is the gpl 
license, not only about the "making of money" more about
security.

i also thought that about compiling ffmpeg on a windows system:D
try to get right bash emulation or compile it :D
you will get sick on it, i promise you!

well iam interested but need to say that iam actualy developing other 
modules for the same project  as the desktop-sharing
would have been used, and may the software will be free but not 
opensource, thatfor "my" problems with the GPL.

Anyhow iam interested to get and share informations and i think that 
might be a good idea to combine the forces.
lets here if may others are also intersted in sharing knowlegde.
