Because his problems last year had far less to do with his age than the fact 
that he had hip surgery a year ago and a full recovery from that sort of thing 
takes about a year, so I gather from rehab-type folks. So this spring he should 
be fully rehabbed, whereas he wasn't at the start of last season.
