Actually, that has him as a minus-9, which is quite a bit below average.
Other fielding metrics had him even worse, though the two prior seasons that
he was a little above average. Seems hard to believe, but the explanation
I've heard is that he is terrible at balls hit right at him; very slow to
react coming in or going back. He also apparently started playing abnormally
deep, allowing a lot of balls to fall in.

He's got the tools to be outstanding, but don't know if you can teach
instincts.

I'm OK with trading Casey Kelly, but I don't want to deal Ryan Westmoreland.
