Shane
This is a subject I've been kind of concerned about. I've got my 100g tank against a
load bearing wall (oak stand and canopy with no sump). The floor in this room (a
1970's addition to this
1940's house) bounces if you jump up and down. Is this an advantage when our big
earthquake occurs? (I live in Long Beach, California) Or...what I really think, that
this could be a problem
and that I should reinforce the floor as has been done in another part of the house
(another addition which is our bedroom). Both rooms are kind of long. Our bedroom
has cement blocks with
beams on top of them to give the floor more rigidity - is it necessary to do this same
thing to the livingroom where the aquarium is located?
Thanks,
Tim

LEAVING THE LIST
================
To stop receiving messages you will need to send a message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a command to remove you from the list. The list
manager controls who belongs to the list.
