You should be able to have a nice reef given the equipment described. It will
take some planning, however. I do not have any tanks in that configuration
but have seen a few very nice reefs in hexagonal tanks. You may need to
supplement the MH with PC or VHO depending on the 250 watt lamp you use.
Obviously, placement of corals will require some planning. Good luck!
