I agree with the gas exchange problem, get the surface moving as much as possible.
also what brand and k rating bulb are you using??
I personally would use a 400w 6500k bulb. what animals do you intend to keep?
you want to use a 65500k bulb as it has more par output than a 10k or 12k
then supplement it with pc actinics.
your biggest problem will be with aquascaping, you will have to go more verticle as a setup, try to pic animals that grow in a reef wall type envionment.

The only problem I could see with the hex tank is gas exchange. Youll need towatch your pH and O2 levels carefully. I would have the surface as agitatedas possible and dont use any sort of lid. Hex tanks have a low surface areawhen compared to a rectangular tank of equal size. Another problem will bewith lighting, depending on what MH bulb you use, you might have a difficulttime adding proper actinic supplementation. Other then that id say go for it.________________________________________LEAVING THE LIST================To stop receiving messages you will need to send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a command to remove you from the list.
