Does anyone use that fiberglass window screen anywhere in their system? The
reason I ask is that after close observation, I believe that the
microbubbles I am getting in my system are actually bubbles that make it
through the bubble traps and get sucked back into the intake on my pump. I
think I can eliminate most of them by putting something in my sump where the
water from the drip tray meets the bulk water in the sump. I was checking
that area out, and a lot of water and splashed down in that section before
traveling through the sump (and traps) and it seems to have a lot of bubble
action going on there. I am thinking that I could put a piece of the screen
there to lessen the amount of water splashing down into the sump, as well as
create another area that the water is forced through to try and push some
air out before it goes through the traps.
Question is, is this stuff safe to use IN the system? If so, do I need to do
anything special with it before I use it?
Thanks all,
Shane C.
