Tom,
Where in the sump do you use the bags? My concern is that my pump will try
and suck in anything placed around its intake. The bubble remover, whatever
it may be, needs to be within the sump away from the intake of the pump.

Thanks,
Shane

Shane, I use 100 micron filter bags to stop the air bubbles in the
sump.
I usually don't recommend ANY mechanical filtration on a reef, but
at 100
micron, you can pull out the big "critters" before you wash the bag.

I throw the dirty bags in the washing machine w/ no soap, run a full
cycle,
and they come out like new ! These are available directly from
CustomAquatic, or let me know, and I'll send you a couple....they're
pretty
        cheap ( $ 12. ea ) and last a really long time.
