Acutally, the icecap will use whatever bulb you purchase for it. If it is a
250 watt ballast, and you put a 250 watt bulb with it, it will work. Now,
the ballast may need to be tuned to match to bulb before you use it with it.
I had 10k bulbs, and when I switched to 55k, I had to send them in and have
them tuned to match the bulb, but they work perfectly now that that has been
done.

The 250 watters should provide plenty of light.
