Yea. There are a lot of corals that are more difficult to keep under MHs.
Forget any types of musrooms or anything like that. Polyps and such can be
kept if you keep them in a cave or at the very bottom of the tank. LPS are
much more difficult to acclimate to MHs, and IME, dont do well under them
(although some on the list have kept them with MHs just fine). If you keep
LPS under mhs, you have to really give them time to acclimate. Softies can
be kept, but should be kept low in the tank (a couple species do well high
in the tank under mhs though). Clams and SPS will love them.

That being said, my MH is quite close to the water. About 10 inches from the
top of the water to the bottom of the bulb. Yours will be higher, and that
will help. It is just something to consider when purchasing and placing your
corals.

IMO

LEAVING THE LIST
================
To stop receiving messages you will need to send a message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a command to remove you from the list. The list
manager controls who belongs to the list.

For example:
 --------------------------------------------------------------
       From: John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
         To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    Subject: <not needed>

    UNSUBSCRIBE
