The RG11 that I have has "quad shield" foil, braid, foil, braid  if I remember correctly,  Its not too bad if brought in from above the unit. On one set I have it going to a splitter and then to two RG6QS jumpers that go to the cable modem and the cable box. Maybe they were using some of the rg-11 size cable with extra shielding. I have not looked into the quad shielded cable. Does this stuff really have 4 shields or is it just called qual shielded ?
