Ok, at the risk of being flamed I am gonna' ask this question anyway. ;) I have inherited a Spectrum Communications SCR-4000 repeater. Receive seems to work fine but the TX freq drifts after a few minutes no matter how many times I reset it. It has the TCXO option in it but it doesnt seem to matter. Any Ideas on what might be causing this? Spectrum has been LESS than helpful, other than to say "we discontinued it over 10 years ago and can't help you" and "we can sell you a manual if you want though!". Thats great. Also, does anyone know what mods are needed to run this unit with an outboard controller, as the Spectrum one sucks. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated!
