I like having every TX in a system have a unique ID. That way if someone is hearing one of my TXs someplace it shouldn't be and they can catch the ID it tells me which TX to look at. I ID the repeaters as DE WA6ILQ / R1 and increment the number from there. When the power fails and the systems revert to battery I drop the DE and add EP to the end. The links get ID'd as DE WA6ILQ / A1 (for aux). The remote bases get ID'd by voice. >PS Data Signal is no longer in business , But they still had a former >employee working for the New Company called Game Country in Albany Ga , >that I got it re programmed and a Manual from. so if anyone is still using >a Unit like this and needs info E-Mail and I will look in the Manual. Can you scan the entire manual and send it to me? (If you don't have a scanner then can you xerox it? I'll have it scanned locally) Either way, I'll put it the scans up on www.repeater-builder.com >Thanks Don KA9QJG Thanks in advance - Mike WA6ILQ Yahoo!
