I like having every TX in a system have a unique ID.  That way if someone
is hearing one of my TXs someplace it shouldn't be and they can catch
the ID it tells me which TX to look at.

I ID the repeaters as DE WA6ILQ / R1 and increment the number from there.
When the power fails and the systems revert to battery I drop the DE and add
EP to the end.

The links get ID'd as DE WA6ILQ / A1 (for aux).
The remote bases get ID'd by voice.
