Bud,  If you have two fuses, and the neg. lead fuse blows for what ever
reason,  now your radio may have it's return to "Gnd" via the Co-ax.....not
a particularly good idea.......(Your vehicle roof headliner may get very
hot)

I suspect that in some countries they may still be using "Pos" Gnd and if
the PS is floating then a fused Neg. lead is appropriate

I'd use a fuse in the +  (Hot) lead only.
