You are so correct - the only Elmira I was aware of is just west 
 of Eugene, Oregon.  

  The map shows it as placed just south of I-80 & I-505 ... been 
 through your area on both freeways numerous times over the last 40 
 years or so.  Is about 12 hours from here ... depending where the 
 funny colored cars with the screwy lighting systems are hiding. 

  I fondly remember when the now I-505 was but a two lane county road.
