While --nobase seems to come up a lot in this thread, and it is what I
use, it isn't really anything all that special. Either you use
--nobase and add a bunch of things we mostly find useful or you don't
use --nobase and remove a bunch of things we mostly find not useful.

What I think we want is something in between that comes closer to what
is a widely used base server installation. Granted it is fuzzy -
changing a couple packages is better than changing 60 or more no
matter how you dice it.

It would be very interesting to know how many people actually use
bluetooth on their servers, or pcmcia, or cups, or on and on.
